BBC Illuminated Podcast:
It was an honour to present this podcast for the BBC and work with award-winning producer, Jude Shapiro.
Circus is a very physical art that includes mastery of feats being demonstrated, combined with risk – making it a very emotional/cultural, and psychological experience because spectators can experience Physical Risk through the performers without any harm coming to themselves. For this reason, the knifethrowing act has an immediate emotional connection with the audience. In “Target Girls”, we talk about the tradition of knifethrowing and its comeback today in the age of A.I. and our growing digital proxies that we unknowingly subject to risk.
Allure Magazine Ashley Graham Cover
“Ashley Graham is tired of being told how to feel about her body”
I am forever grateful for the extraordinary people I have come in contact with through my teaching at Barnard and around New York City; Blown away again and again by their strength, wisdom and perseverance. Ashley brings light into every room she enters and taught me things about my body as I was showing her new ways to use hers.

Circo de la Luna at Baruch Performing Arts Center 2013
Circo de la Luna is the show that I created, produced, cast and performed in. We were very proud to be accepted into the 2015-16 New Victory Theater Labworks Professional Development Program.
VPL Activewear SS15 NY Fashion Week 9/14
Collaborating with the artistic fashion genius Victoria Bartlett, and directors Britt Kubat and Charles Villot to create the film Fundipendulous was an incredible experience. I really enjoyed creating all the “aerial looks”, casting, training and choreographing the dancers as a co-creative director of this project. Thank you Purple Fashion Magazine for publishing the video:

Genius Gala 2012 and 2013
This is my favorite event of the year, as well as the most humbling. Surrounded by brilliant minds and nobel-prize winners, I try my hardest to inspire the people who inspire me.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
This is a very moving event. Besides the hope and courage the event promotes, I was so happy to perform in the Kennedy Center together with the incredibly talented Denyce Graves. As an artist, it’s impossible not to feel welcome in the Kennedy Center after walking in under the inscription,
– John Fitzgerald KennedyI look forward to an America which will reward achievement in the arts as we reward achievement in business or statecraft. I look forward to an America which will steadily raise the standards of artistic accomplishment and which will steadily enlarge cultural opportunities for all of our citizens. And I look forward to an America which commands respect throughout the world not only for its strength, but for its civilization as well.
Susan G. Komen treated me very well as a guest in Washington, DC. It was a great night on a snowy weekend.
